Circuit City Store , Nicholasville Rd. , Lexington, Ky.

I have been trying to get a 36" Sony t.v. repaired for over one year, but to no avail.

I have several extended warranties , which have been sold to out side vendors .

My first call was in late January of 2006. A service call was placed to someone in Louisville

in the month of Jan. O6. Two weeks went by ,but no one came. I called Corp. office and

explained that no one came to repair my t.v. I talked to Margaret Donahue a person who follows

up on service call problems. Margaret called a shop in Georgetown Ky. two more weeks past

and still no one came. Before a complete past the store at Lexington came and picked up

the T.V. , two days later I received a call from a Circuit City Store in Louisville Store ,they wanted

to know what the problem was ,with the set? I told that person that I placed a letter on the set

explaining the problem.(I did this due to sound problems which occurred on low frequency

sounds , I further explained that there were color problems .I explained those in detail.

Days later I received an automated call stating that a part had been ordered. Two weeks later

I called the Louisville Store ,using my C.I.D. number on the phone.I was told that there was

no record to my t.v. being there. I called the Lexington Store and explained what I was told by the

person in Louisville. The Lexington said they would call to try and find out what had happened to my

t.v. over a week later I received a call stating that my set was in Illinois on the dock and would be

trucked to Lexington as soon as a truck was coming this way .The set was gone about two and

one half Months. During the time the set was gone I continued to call Corp. about what was happening.

I talked to Margaret again ,Margaret said she would process the necessary paper work to replace

my set.Two more weeks ,nothing happened. I continued to contact Mike White at the Lexington Store.

Mike said the set should be replaced , but he needed paper work from Corp. he said that 6 of 8 t.v.s

had been replaced so far.

I called Margaret several times and left messages ,she would not return my call. I called until I received

an answer from another person , this person said that she would process the paper work , she said the this had been going on too long.

I waited several more weeks and nothing happened.

I called again and talked to someone named Angela , she said that she was going to fill out the paper work and go directly to her boss and he would call me within the hour to let me know that the set would be replaced. Yes , you are right , nothing happened.

In late April I received a call from a automated call stating that my appliance was ready to be picked up.

Keep in mind this is a 36" TV and is to be delivered. Before this call I informed the store that I did not

want a TV that had been shipped all over the place.

Reluctantly I let the store deliver the set. In a few days the set had the same problem .Mark White ask

me to enter another call on the TV . Later I found out that the first time the TV was picked up ,there was no records kept. It seems that the Lex. Store was trying to beat the 30 day replacement clause. and sent

in no records to the service rep. .I later found out that the wrong purchase date was put in the computer and

that was the problem with the replacement.

Because of the way the first call was handled and due to Mikes request , I tried to place another call on

the TV. The person I talked to said that she would replace the TV and that I did not need to place the service call. Several weeks later someone called me from Corp. Office and said that there was no

record of any service on this TV. and that they was not going to replace the set.

I checked back with the people who place the service calls to place another call, there was a call placed on

December !st. 06. It is now January 25th 07 and no one has called to come fix my TV.

All this time ,over one year we have put up with this horrible sound ,so bad sometimes we cut it off

Last week ,someone called to ask me how satisfied I was with my repairs ? I explained to her what had

happened so far ,she stated that the TV would be replaced and she would be the one to make the final

call.

I called Mike White at the store, he said that I was to come to the store , no matter what happened he would

replace the set at the store. I called today the 31st of January ,Mike is no longer at the store.

I tried to call the last person who promised to replace the set and got no answer.

This has gone on for over a year. A lawyer is my only choice now.

call.
