Vonage delays switching phone number to other provider

Vonage is dishonest:

I have had Vonage for a year and quality was good at first, but later after some months often had dropped calls, calls were not clear. I changed to other provider for a better deal.

Vonage is being very nasty, its postponing our number transfer from past 2 months with absolutely no concrete reason. We are paying bills to both the companies while waiting not knowing when this issue will be resolved. Probably I will be forced to give up my number..!!!!
