I had tried to have my system moved to my new home, however, the product they offered to install was far inferior to what I had with them at my old home. I never signed a contract with them for that reason and never turned the alarm system on that they had installed. I have been turned over to a collection agency by Monitronics Inc., when I don't even have a contract with them. I have tried to resolve this issue with them since December 2004, contacting them every month, but no response other than , "we'll call you back". They continued to bill me even though I did not have a signed contract with them. After calling them every month, now they have turned the matter over to a collection agency and Montironics refuses to even try and understand I never had a contract with them in the first place.
