My complaint concerning Maytag varies, There customer service is deplorable the Customer service supervisors are of no assistance and are obnoxious and rude, starting with Melissa authorization# 4280 and her coworker Adam who works in the executive offices if you expect to receive any assistance other than title alone don't hold your breathe, My interaction with these rude individuals concerns having (2) units within 8 months and of course there warranty is only a year repair only. The first unit brand new I had to replace because Maytags Delivery company beat up this unit, banged plaster off my wall and left it laying on it's side over forty-five mins knowing full well that reduces the life of the unit, However out of the kindness of Maytags heart they replaced this unit with a Defective one which I believe was a refurbished unit, the thief's!! this replacement unit needed repairs two to three days after it's arrival cooler/refrigeratoration failure, the tech they sent to my house unplugged the unit then plugged the unit back up, felt in the inside of the cooler, removed a cooling fan cover, stated the unit was fine when I reported the unit stopped cooling thanks to Maytags wonderful service I was able to have an operating 1700.00 refrigerator for a whole eight months before my second cooler/refrigeration failure, according to there supervisor Melissa #4280 and executive offices personnel Adam this was good enough and I should be happy, if I'm not mistaken this unit should last as least 25yrs there's a large discrepancy between that and 2 defective units in 8 months and 1 good operating unit over 25yrs. I wanted this defective unit replace with a brand new unit I was refused, you should get what I paid for and not expect to be robbed, I lost over 300.00 in groceries which they refused to pay. I will never buy a Maytag, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Amana or any product affiliated and being a military dependent I will go above and beyond the call of duty to warn every service member and there family to do the same with Maytag there service is disgustingly deplorable and they should be embarrassed to be thief's and robbers. They stole a total of 2000.00 from me and my family sure they offered to repair, repair, repair why would I want continuous repairs over the life of my unit of course there only willing to go as far as 1yr for repairs the rest would fall on the shoulders of my family. Maytag should stopped stealing and start selling a product that's comparable to the high price tag.
