gasoline price gouging

I live in east Flint, MI. I had an appointment in Pontica, MI this morning. At appoxemently 8:30am this morning (1-24-08) I stopped at a gas station near home for gas. It was @ $1.87/9 p.g. I finished my appointment and drove to the same gas station @ appoxemently 11:30am, about three hours later, and the price has risen to $2.17/9 p.g. I doin't know about you, or anyone else for that matter, but to me a price increse of $0.31 p.g. in such a short, and / or at any one time should consteute price gouging.
