RBI - Complain for not opening Demat Account in time.

Hi Mahesh

It has been more than 10 days now for the application of my demat account. You had promised me that I will get the demat account details on 17th Jan 2007 and still I am waiting for it.

I have been informed by your sales person Nainil that my application has been rejected. I had already told you that if I do not get my account up and running by 18th Jan 2007 then I will loose around 35,000 Rupees.

I want the reason why my account opening form has been Rejected today else I will be compelled to complain to the RBI and Consumer Court and will have to recover the damages incurred to me from you or your bank.

Please be aware that I am also going to use the Right of Information http://persmin.nic.in/RTI/WelcomeRTI.htm, which gives me authority to ask the following information from you,

4.

What does Right to Information mean?

iii. take certified samples of material.

iv. obtain information in form of printouts, diskettes, floppies, tapes, video cassettes or in any other electronic mode or through printouts.[S.2(j)]

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks
