Circuit City Dear Sirs, I am writing this complaint against Circuit City. On 8/29/06 I purchased (3) digital picture frames as Christmas gifts from their web site. I received these frames about 10 days later and set them aside to allow time to digitize some old photographs and 35mm slides. On 12/21 I started loading the digitized information onto the picture frames and found most of the parts missing from one of the frames. The small box containing the power supply, power cord and remote was missing. I immediately called Circuit City and reported the problem. I was assigned a case number and told someone would call me with a return authorization number within 3 days. I called again on 1/2/07 to find out why no one had called and was told Circuit City would not replace my missing parts because I had waited too long to report the problem... I called as soon as I found out the parts were missing. I spent about an hour talking with someone that claimed to be a Sr. person with the required responsibility to satisfy my request but he consistently pointed out it was my fault for not calling sooner and he was sorry, but he could not help. All I want is for Circuit City to honor their implied agreement that when I pay for a product they will insure I get one in good working order, regardless of the time frame between when they ship it and when I open it. I am out the price of a digital picture frame plus the tax included and Circuit has my money. This type of service is not what you would expect from a reputable National/International firm. If this is the type of service they provide, I hope this information is read by every consumer getting ready to purchase something from Circuit City. They have certainly taken the "Buyer Beware" approach with me and it most likely will not stop there. I can say, I'll not darken their doors again and anyone I know will hear my story.
