Charter communications in Reno Nev. We signed up for apackage deal from Charter which included cable t.v. local and long distant telephone service and high speed internet for the low price of $99.97 per month. This package deal is called the Big+3Meg+phone. A person from Charter came to our door and sold us on this package. Before the phone was even turned on we recieved a bill from Charter for a whopping 198.76. A few weeks later we recieved another bill for $313.28. We tryed in vein to get this straighten out with Charter. I called them many many times trying to get this straighened out. We never talked to one person at Charter that seemed to know what they were talking about. I at last got to talk to a Supervisor named Jim who turned out to be of no more help then anyone else there .He put me on hold to check our account he said but he instead dumped me back to a customer service representive who had no clue. So after 3 months of frustration with Charter we decided to go back to At&T where we got Local and long distant phone service,high speed internet and the dish network <which we love much better then Charter Cable> all for under $100.00 a month and we understand our bill .Just think people should know Charter Communications is a big rip off. We have never got our bill straight with them . I have contacted the FCC and have filled out paperwork with them against Charter. These new commercials Charter is running,saying the dish is no good is wrong.We love ours and we got it thru AT&T all on one bill GO AT&T hope you run Charter out of business.The billing system at Charter sucks dont think anyone at Charter has a clue what they are doing.Hope this will prevent some other poor sucker from being ripped by CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS. OK, now you tell me how is that possibly being helpful? Either she is way to stupid to have a simple convo, or she is illiterate. Then on top of it all she finishes and just gets off! I seriously feel insulted! How can you expect people to buy your services with support like that. I work as a Computer Data Security Manager. We build and sell computers. When people ask me and my employees who they should go to for internet i will honestly from now on tell them to go to AT&T because you guys obviously don't care about your customers and i guarentee i will be cancelling my service very shortly to switch to AT&T and Dish. I can not believe how bad all of your service is. If you don't believe me on what i pasted for the convo i even took screne shots to prove it. here are the web addresses for them:
