HP multifunction machine won't receive faxes

I bought a hp office jet 9110 it immediately began sending out messages that the fax wasn't received. I contacted hp which was directed to India for a technician. Language barrier was horrible couldn't understand them and there questions and answers sounded like reading from a manual. Told me to perform some adjustments and guaranteed it would work.

They strung me out till the warranty was over, never fixing the issue. After the warranty was over they requested money to help me. Thank god I bought an extended warranty from staples and they replaced it.

 

Immediately this machine did the same thing. that was July 06. I have been trying to get the machine fixed again and hp has thwarted all my attempts. The technicians in India were rude arrogant and incompetent. I tried to get assistance from corporate headquarters and was rebuffed , sending me to either Costa Rica or back to India.

I finally got a technician to admit this machine is defective and the patches don't work on all machines. I requested a replacement which has been refused. I'm harassed abused and ignored by this company. Clearly HP does not care about their customers nor the goodwill of its corporate name.

I explained I'm a stroke victim and use the fax for contact with my doctors etc. Answer from HP in India "not our problem".

 

They finally offered me a stand alone fax to solve the issue. It would have to go on the floor based on my set-up and because my left side is paralyzed I cannot bend down to use it. I requested a replacement of the defective machine . The answer take the stand alone or nothing. My response fix my machine or replace it.

 

HP has been rude, callous to my medical condition and with a superior attitude that they have no obligation to help me. It has outsourced their entire technical help division, not caring whether they help their U.S. customers. My contact with HP corporate head quarters was met with a total lack of concern and support to help me.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
