Dell computer/tech support I own a Dell Dimension 8400 PC. I also have Itunes. I recently tried to backup my itunes and was told by them that they could not diferentiate between my two drives,(DVD<CD) and that I should update them. I went to dell update site and was not sure which update to use so I called tech support (I purchased an additional two yrs of support). I explained my problem and the support tech. told me what to install. I did and my puter crashed. I was upset because my itunes were not backed up and I could get no screen at all. His first sugestion was to call geek squad and have them retrieve my music. I was not going to pay for this since it was his fault my puter crashed. I was told by him he would call back in a few min. I asked for his ID or Badge or last name but he would only give me his first name Alan. I was not called back. I talked to 5 other tech support people over the next 6 1/2 hrs none called back. I had to reboot my computer. I can't beleive how poorly Dell treated me. I called to complain about the support, I was put on hold and disconected. Its funny how easy it is to find someone to buy a new computer from but you can't find anyone to help.
