My 2 year contract expired or so I thought 3 years ago. In December 2006 this billing company started sending me letters trying to collect over 100.00. I called several times to reassure them there must be some mistake. I never could reach a human on the phone, only a long message from an answering machine. I left detailed messages but never an acknowledgement that my message had been received. I got another letter stating the same thing a couple of weeks later. I still cannot reach anyone by phone at Club Adminastrative Services. Cory Everson Gym is no longer in business in the city in which I was a member. Last night I receive a call from a bill collection agency out of Jacksonville, FL saying that I now owe over 300.00; 100 of that is a collection fee. This was the first time my actual contract was explained to me. I did not keep a copy because of the time period and my account stopped being debited at the end of 2 years exactly. I feel very frustrated. My husband and I are going to try and meet someone today if there is anyone to meet with at Club Administrative Services. I have called at least 4 times and left 2 messages today, but I have yet to speak to a person and they have not returned my phone calls. I have definitely learned my lesson about reading contracts and we will seek legal advice. I hope someone else can learn from this and I would never recommend a Cory Everson Gym to anyone.
