ADVISE TO ALL CONSUMERS who wants to Buy a HP product, please read my experience with HP and then decide whether to buy such HP products.

 

During my vacation trip to Dubai, I have purchased a LAPTOP in Dubai on May 2006 and it was carrying a International Warranty. The cost of the Laptop is USD1100/-. I sparingly use my Laptop and last October month the LCD display was dimmed and as such DULL Display. Believe me friends, I was shuffled by HP like anything. When i approached local HP service centre in Chennai they said the said product not yet launched in India so they can not help in it and they asked me to visit Dubai to rectify the problem. It is radiculous to spend another usd500-700 to visit Dubai and rectify the problem. What is the meaning of International Warranty??

 

I took online chat support and also wrote SEVERAL MAILS including CEO's but all in vain. The current situation is that the said laptop was given to local HP on 19th December and as of date (15/01/2007) there is no response from HP.

 

Due to above reasons am totally disturbed and it also affects my day today biz hence I have decided to take up this issue to consumer court in Chennai and let see my fate on invested money on HP product.
