Fujifilm S9000 digital camera
Posted on Sunday, January 14th, 2007 at 4:47pm CST by 11a4c928
Company: Fujifilm S9000 digital camera
Category: Other
I bought this camera on March 14, 2006 and eight months later had to send it
in for repairs because the compact flash card would not go in. I sent the
camera in for repairs on November 13, 2006. Today is January 14, 2007 and I
still don’t have the camera back. Additionally, even though the camera is
under a one year warranty, Fuji is charging me $285 to repair what they say
are “broken slot pins” caused by not putting the compact flash card in
correctly. After corresponding via email with the Fujifilm customer
relations department, I was told in writing that the compact flash cards are
not the best way to store digital images. Translation: there is something on
the camera that I cannot safely use, and the camera manufacturer knows
this!. The camera takes beautiful photos but I will NEVER buy another
Fujifilm product or a compact flash card. I will use the XD cards only.
