Nova Development rebate for $30.

I called 3 months after sending in the rebate and they said they have put the rebate aside because I had not sent in all of the required documentation. Apparently they emailed me to inform me of my rebate status (I never got an email). I sent in the stuff they asked for and then called in again a month later. The support tech told me that my rebate had accidently been put aside again, even though everything had been received. She was going to forward it to her supervisor and get the rebate out to me next week.

So 4 months after the purchase date and I still haven’t gotten anything. Scam? Are intentional delaying of rebates so they can hold onto my money longer?
