Amy Plumbing and Heating

Amy Plumbing and Heating In mid November of 2006 I had AMY come to my house in Poplar Grove and fix a leaking valve behind me washing machine. The serviceman showed up 2 hours late and installed a new 1/4 turn valve. Cost of Items about $20 MAX. He was there 15-20 minutes to fix the problem and hit me with a bill of over $320. That included the $59.00 service fee which I did not have a problem with the service fee. I paid them. He also wanted to but on burst proof hoses because he said mine were bad. ( THey were less than 1 year old. That would have cost me $282.00. He wanted to install a battery back up for my sump pump for $1700. ( cost of back up $300. max.) I went down in my basement later only to find that the serviceman, without my permission, put advertising stickers on my furnace, electrical box, and water heater. I will never do business with them again and urge others to do the same.
