Blue Green Resorts

Blue Green Resorts I fell prey to Blue Green Vacations also. We were in Orlando, FL on an invitation to view the resort there. We were not allowed to stay in the resort, we were given a room in a hotel that maybe could be classed as a 1 star, if we pushed it hard a 2. After an all day session at the sales office and a short tour of the resort, we did purchase a "Sampler Vacation Package" for $1.000.00 plus tax. We were told this was for 1 year, the last time I checked 1 year=12 months. Not true for Blue Green, their calendar says 1 year = 9 months. This package was bought in February, we did not receive any information until August. Our vacation was scheduled for June. No package, called Blue Green, "We will send you your package right away, but you can't use it in June, July or August" Why? "Those months are blocked out." so that leaves 9 months. The end of August our grandson passed away, we took the rest of out vacation time to be with family and give what support that we could. I called and asked if our package could be extended because we had not used it and would like to this year. Blue Green says NO WAY, you had a year that is what you bought that is all you get,. If you can go now we would be glad to schedule it for a resort that has availability. I ask her if she could also schedule time off from our work. After reading the complaints on Blue Green I am sorry that we didn't do that before we gave them money for nothing. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. There are legitimate companies out there that you can go to, this isn't one of them.
