cashier. Dear Team,
We (Myself, My Wife & My Father) visited the New Reebok Factory Outlet (Shubhankar Apparels) at 14 Malviya Nagar, Bhopal on 21 Jan 2007 evening.
It was was a horrible experience. we could not forget it till date and thus am writing this mail.
We had been to the other store of reebok at bittan market and had enquired about the prices of shoes. We thought to take a look at new store before final buy.
Thus on reaching the new store my wife finally choose to buy one shoe which costed Rs 3150 and my father choosed to buy a shoe costing Rs 4490. Prices were told to us by the sales girl, she inturn verified them from the shoe box.
On reaching the counter i presented the cashier with sodexho gift passes (as on the passes envelop it was printed reebook as affiliate)
The cashier- Mr Naeem Khan could not figure out what it is and referred to probably the owner, i told him we had passes for Rs 4000. he said he will accept only Rs 2000 passes and further pressing he will not take rest of the gift voucher. i asked him why so- he told me he is actually obliging me (rudely) by accepting them. i told him if you dont accept, then you should have communicated the same in the first place and we would have paid by card. The whole conversation was in presence of my wife and father & shop cashier- Naeem Khan and owner were damn very rude and whole episode was bad in flavour which lasted for a while.
Secondly, when we said ok bill it. The cashier started to bill he said the shoe worth Rs 3150 (also printed on box) cashier said price has been jacked by company to Rs 3450 from 1 Jan 2007 and shoe for Rs 4490 was actually for Rs 4990 (reason cited by cashier probably the shop staff has kept it in wrong shoe box).
We felt cheated as we had confirm the prices of the shoes earlier at the old reebok store at bittan market bhopal. We could make out the mockery was created by cashier & owner. They were conversing with us in a very rude manner.
We finally left feeling cheated, promising ourselves never to enter in any reebok store any where and discussing the poor quality of salesmanship.
My family own 15 sports shoes and we had purchased apparels from CP - New Delhi many a times.
I am personally a shoe freak, but a company of this stature - poor service, rude behaviour, bad shooping experience and all in presence of family and on a special day of my life leaves a mark on me about the brand.
Hope somebody set things right.
