Contaminated GAS purchased at Sam's CLUB I purchased 18.17 gallons of gas at the Sam's Club #4713, 19091 I-45 South The Woodlands, TX 77389 My car was fine before the purchase. My tank holds 18 gallons with 3 liters of reserve. After I put the 18.17 gallons of Sam's Club fuel in my car, within an hour, it died and I had to get the car towed and serviced. My mechanic showed me a sample of fuel extracted from my car. It was 30-40% water. After filing a claim with Sam's Club, the Sam's Club and Wal-Mart claims department denies the water came from THEIR tank, and claims the "you are the only one...". I have a receipt showing 18.17 gallons purchased at 12:05 PM on Feb. 1. I have telephone records showing I started calling tow trucks at 12:42. I have receipt showing after purchasing the gas from the Sam's, I went shopping and purchased groceries at 12:30. I have mechanics report and sample gas from my car. I showed them all the evidence, and they are still claiming that I cannot proof their fuel had water!!! Sam's and Wal-Mart store is very unethical and everyone should stop purchasing gas at their store if you want to protect your car. NO LONGER A SAM'S CLUB CUSTOMER!
