Allied Interstate 866-720-1467 caller

Keeps calling for debt collection for AOL – I have no AOL account. The account number they are using is 665906169. I told them it’s not me. Caller Alex Maxwell was also nasty. Getting 2-3 calls every day for the last six weeks.

I got the AOL number – 800-827-6364 / 877-773-0462 – Called them and they told me I would be put on the do not call list. – Guess what I’m still getting calls.

Called back today 2-4-2007, (aol) now they want my address to send me a letter to close account which I never had. I told them they lied last time I called, Allied still calling. Now what do I do? I told them send the letter to the real person they are looking for.

I’m not the person they are looking for. This happened last year with Direct TV and they checked my SS number against the real user and it did not match – never called again. They even sent me an I’m sorry letter.

I believe this is linked to AOL and their scam of billing people for service that they never signed up for in the first place. Where is the BBB when you need them? This has been happening on a regular basis for at least 4 mos. I don't have an AOL account, I've never had an AOL account, and I never will have an AOL account.

Allied and AOL are total CRAP! I have been getting calls from the same number about an AOL account I tried to have closed, but kept getting billed, so I cancelled my card number to make it stop. AOL sent me a letter asking for a new card number, what a joke! I have told Allied tonight to stop calling my number or I will get my attourney involved. BTW, I was not verbally pleasant with them and I hope they recorded the conversation. I think I may even get with my congress man about taking action against frauds like AOL and Allied, which we all know, AOL will distance themselves from Allied with false claims. Let's stand up to this BS America, consumers have rights too!!!!
