Shift Lock Flooring

I purchased a shift lock laminate floor from a national hardware store chain. The product I purchased was also a nationally know brand.

Installation:

Easy - just follow the instructions

Durability:

Doesn't show scratches, and the finish is very durable.

Appearance:

Initially - very good

So what is the complaint:

The floor I purchased is about 4 years old and has started to bubble at the seems between the pieces. Beware of the smallest amount of moisture on the seems. I would not recommend leaving a damp towel on the floor after a shower or bath. I would recommend wiping up even a small drop of water if on a seem.

Would I purchase a product like this again?

I don't believe so. The finish is very durable and it looked great at first. However, I expected the floor to last longer and the bubbled seems are a disappointing feature.
