i made a credit card payment over the phone to pay my cell phone over a week ago. i have a prepaid card i put cash on to pay some of my bills. the credit card company has that $52 on hold pending that transaction and first agent told me that it will take 10 day for it to release. i entered the zip code wrong on the phone and the cell phone billing company cannot access the money. meanwhile my cell was turned off this morning.

An hour later i called western union back again insisting to speak to a supervisor and found out there is a number that the cell phone company can call to release the pending charges sooner. why didn't the first agent tell me about this? i have had to explain my story to several people now. i am so frustrated. i will never again use a prepaid card to pay this bill.

the prepaid credit card is normally a great thing. just not for important bills like this. i found out they can hold your money for up to 30 days.
