February 3, 2007 I shopped for two large appliances: a gas range stove and a refrigerator: When I located the size, color and types I needed, I was advised that both of these had to be ordered and I could not expect delivery until February 27, 2007. The following are the items ordered through Regency Jacksonville, FL 01635:

These items did arrive on February 27 at approximately 12:05 p.m. however, both pieces were damaged! The damage to the refrigerator was so severe that the doors could not open, deep dents on side and back, black rim trim was broken, (not cracked, but broken in pieces), I then asked if they could supply me with one of each to use to use The answer was NO. I was advised that they were unable to locate another refrigerator of this size, color, make, model and that the earliest date they would be able to deliver the range was March 13 but that they would call me later as they would try to remedy this situation.

 

Don called and the scenario was about the same; there were no more of this item available at all but he would contact Julie, as he had left her a message as well.

On the morning of February 28 I received a call from Julie and after a few moves to attempt to remedy the situation by offering a similar model, similar color, size, etc.

Due to space and kitchen cabinetry and floor this was not an option to change from my original choices.

 

During all of the conversation, each person was very cordial and apologetic. However this did not solve the problem at hand..My last resort will be to cancel the order altogether. \\\Check the record, I have dealt with Sears for a long, long time. There have been some minor problems which were handled, but nothing like this!

My dilemma with the stove, each time the gas contractor comes to relight the stove that costs me $75.

 

Julie did mention that sometimes the company is trying to discontinue certain prodducts. Is this the case with this oproduct. Please advise

I NEED AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE!!!
