YELLOEBEEPHOTO I want to report the service I received from YELLOWBEEPHOTO, 1778 Westend Ave., Brooklyn, NY. 11235. www.yellowbeephoto.com (866-903-4804) Om February 6, 07, I ordered a Sony DCR-SR60 camcorder that they advertised on their website for $518.00. I immediately received a confirmation of my order by e-mail that I was to receive my order in 4-5 days. A week went by so I called them and I was told that that camera was no longer available. In turn, I was told they had a much better deal to offer me with a retail value of $1,200.00. The salesperson was very difficult to understand but I was told that it included many extras, and I could purchase this for $728.98. It sounded fine, and I did need a camera so I ordered it. I received the delivery on February 20, 07, and upon opening the carton, it included a SONY DCR-SR40 camcorder, a cheap tripod, 3 lense filters, and a 2 year extended warranty that I didn't even want. I promptly shipped the order back, and a week later I received the extended warranty and a 6 page Company Policy/Terms and Conditions printout. They claimed that because one of the seals on a package was broken, they will be charging me a 30% restocking fee amounting to $218.99. I called them to complain and the person I was talking to hung up the phone. I have read other customers reviews regarding this company and I am not the only one that felt they were scammed. Something needs to be done to protect innocent cpnsumers from this company or they will continue to rip off customers. I did order another camera through amazon.com, a very reliable source. It incluced a Sony camcorder, tripod, case, 2 lenses, 3 filters, an extra long capacity battery, AC charger, and a camera cleaning kit for $604.85. Sincerely, William G.
