Woodland shoes complaint

Dear Sir

I purchased a Woods Women’s shoes worth Rs. 1400 from the Woodland Store in Crown Plaza Mall, Faridabad in December 2006. Within 1 month, there appeared a crack on the top of the shoe and the corners of the shoes also cracked up. I took the pair to the store but they refused to change it. I don’t wear the pair regularly that it would wear out so soon- that too being a Woods shoes which is famous for being so sturdy. The shopkeeper told us that regular wear must have cracked it. When we told him I don’t wear it regularly he refused to listen.

I had bought a Woodland pair in 1991 and that pair is still going strong. Then how come the quality has deteriorated so much?

Our trust in the product is completely gone. We will think twice now before investing so much money on a pair of shoes.

I request immediate action on my complaint and want my pair to be replaced.
