I have just read some complaints on your site regarding the E.Burnham Cosmetics Co. Actually, I was looking on the web to see if they had a customer support email address so I could contact them. I saw the complaints.com website and decided to see what complaints were listed.


Actually I was quite surprised by the complaints, because I have had nothing but good things to say about the company.


Some complaints were in regard to receiving a product they never ordered. Maybe they didn’t read the ad well enough when it arrived in the mail.


I received an ad from this company about 2 years ago. The ad stated that I could send in the enclosed card to receive a free trial size of their Retinol Ultra Face Cream. The ad also stated that approximately three weeks later I would be sent a regular size jar of their Retinol Ultra Skin Care Cream every other month at the price of $26.95, which included shipping and handling. If at any time I did not want to receive the Face Cream I could call and cancel at any time. I used the product for about 2 years and was quite satisfied with the results. After talking to my older sister, I wanted to try the Skin Care Product she was using because she had good results with it and decided to stop using the Retinol Skin Cream for a while.


Instead of calling them at their 1-800 number, AS THEY RECOMMENDED, I simply returned the unopened package as soon as it arrived. A couple of weeks alter I received a pleasant letter asking me if I had simply forgotten my payment. Since I returned the product I called the 800-344-6912 number listed on the statement. The phone was answered right away by a CSR named Eva. I explained to Eva that I had returned the product and did not want to receive it at the present time. She checked my account, noted that the cream had not been posted as returned, but told me that she would note that I had sent it back. She also told me if I received any other statements to disregard them. SHE GAVE ME NO HASSLE!


I may go back to using their product, if I don’t find something that works any better. Actually, many people tell me that I have “beautiful” skin, which is always a surprise to me, since I am 61 years old and lived in Florida in my growing up years. Who knows? Maybe the E. Burnham Skin Cream is partially responsible!


As far as the lady who developed a rash from using the product, some people are just allergic to things. I certainly didn’t have an allergic reaction to it, and I used it for 2 years. I used to sell Jafra Cosmetics. Once in a great while I would hear of a customer who could not use the product, but that was not the norm. Allergies are funny things, and we can’t blame the product.
