AOL UK Broadband ISP AOL UK ISP, Canncellation and poor Customer Service
Following a problem with a payment, I changed my Direct Debit instruction and quoted an I correct digit [my fault], AOL, in my opinion, did not take enough actions to contact me to correct the error.
No email, 2 phone calls when I was unavailable to take them, and no Letter. This resulted in my account being suspended [This was resolved at my expense by calling their helpline].
I have been with AOL for over 3years never missing a payment previously. So their poor service encouraged me to switch.

When I checked my bank account in October I could see that they had taken a monthly fee even though I had left them. I called then to ask for a refund and to check what had happened they told me that I would get a refund within 30 days and that they were very sorry. I'm not sure if you are aware but with AOL they keep your card details on file so I cannot ask the bank to stop them from taking money and if I change my card I will not get a refund as they say they cannot refund without my card details. while waiting for my refund I was charged again I then called about this and the assistants refused to talk with me and hung up many times I finally talked with a manager who told me that he would send me an email with the details and that he was sorry and it would now take 44 days for the second refund, I was also told that it would not happen again. I have been charged today again I called and was told the same thing as the last time. I have had bank charges because of this and I still have not had any of my money returned or any of my letters answered.
