Washington Mutual Home Loan Customer Service

This last two weeks is Chinese New Year time and our family had been out of town. I know it’s not a good excuse but I did have a lot of things going on at this time of the year. When we came back I realized the late payment and went into a Washingto Mutual Branch and paid the monthly payment. There’s a late charge. I was hoping to get the late fee waived for me, because the late charge was huge and, because this is an honest mistake from my side.


 


I have been a good customer and paid my monthly mortgage on time every month, except once in a year! I don’t think it’s too much to ask for once in a year!


 


I’ve talked to several of MAMU customer service representatives and everyone was reciting the same thing to me without any consideration to my case. They responded like machines and there was no service provided at all! Connie said she was sorry almost every time I said something but she didn’t mean it at all because she refused to help! Angela was going to hang up on me because she didn’t want to help!!! This is really unacceptable and rude!!! They all made me feel that they were happy with the late charge collected!!!


 


When I went into a Washingto Mutual branch to make the payment, they asked me if I could please open a personal account and a business account with them. I said I would think about that. Now, I don’t have to think about that, because Washington Mutual means NO SERVICE!!!!!
