Complaints about Peachstate Heating and Air

I purchased National Home Protection Plan. On 12/31/06, my heat stopped working. On 1/03/07, NHP sent Jeff Robinson from Peachstate Heating and Air to my house, he told us the Control Board was broken, he needed to order the part. He left the part dissembled and said he’ll be back before 1/05/07, we paid him $45. But he never came back. I called on Mon. Jan.8th, was informed that NHP denied the claim. We then decided to fix the problem out of our own pocket. Since we already paid him and he said the amount would apply toward the cost of repair, we agreed to let Jeff do the job. But he kept changing the appointment. I left several messages in his office and his cell, he never returned my call. The problem was dragged until Thurs. Jan.18, Jeff told me that he has contacted the dealer, they had the part, he just need to pick it up and would come my house on Fri. to fix it. I waited for him all day, left 3 messages, he didn’t show up, nor did he care to call. Monday I left messages again, finally someone called and told me that he could not find the part. After 3 weeks of waiting and trying to contact him and being stood up for the appointments, left with no heat in the house, he told us to go find someone else to fix the problem. In my last phone conversation with Jeff on 1/22/07, he agreed to refund me the $45 and I asked him to reassemble the part back to its original state and also ask for the Part Name and No. He PROMISED he will call me back. But he never did. I called his office again ask for the same info, I was also PROMISED someone will call me back, but NOBODY did. I sent a written request through fax on 1/23/07. As I checked with his staff Lisa today 2/02/07, she confirmed that Jeff received all my messages and the fax. However he seems has no intention to issue any refund or even return my call. Up until today, I still have no heat, I have a 75 year old and a 2 year old living in the house and the temperature is below freezing! The part and wire are still dissembled.

I also had a very bad experience working with Geoffrey Robinson. He replaced an air conditioning unit as well as installed a new furnace. He never completed the work. This was one year ago. The old unit is still up in my attic and the new unit was too heavy for the base. As a result it crashed and we cannot change the filter. He has stated numerous times that he would come back and fix it. One year later.....still not done. He is dishonest, not trust worthy, a liar and a con artist. His wife, Leanne Robinson, works for Decorating Den even got involved. She is as dishonest as he is. She threatened me if I did not pay before the job was complete. Simply put, do not trust Geoff with your air and heating needs and do not trust Leanne with any decorating assignments.
