This shcool has a good reputation until you have a child go there. Their

very difficult and uncaring.

I am a mother with an ex who was ordered to pay 90% of my daughters

school costs. I have had to take him back to court 6 times in 3 years to

get this done.

Each year I had to take loans to cover the cost until I could get the

judge to force money from my ex. But this year the financial director

decided to be a complete donkey. When my daughter and I showed to inroll

he started yelling at me for my ex harrassing the shcool. He also

decided he would no longer speak to either my ex or myself. Even though

I am paying the bill.

Last time the financial director was supeonied and he did not show - the

third time the Judge told him to show or he would be picked up by the

police & cuffed and charged.

So he came and he was mad. He lied on the stand, said he didn't remember

saying anything to me. Saying they arrange payment plans, but never

would with me. Then he made a math error on the cost of school. He also

said he had never seen the courts judgement on what my ex and myself are

to pay, yet he determined what each should pay and it cost me.

The judge, tired of seeing us, just went with what the director said. A

man who would not sit down with me, who had sat down with my ex, a man

who can't do basic math, and who had never seen the judges orders. Thats

clearly a person who is bias against single mothers and sides with the

man despite right or wrong.

Then the director decided to send my loans back without discussing that

with me. My daughter needed some money, had my permission to use the

money, but he decided the answer is no. Didn't call me to discuss it or

anything. However 3 months later the loans still show as disbursed with

my loan company. Where is the money? I would ask but no one there will

speak to me.

There is another problem with Lindenwood, most their students end up

going longer than the term agreed on because the over accept students,

then they run out of housing, they don't have the classes you need,

either they are not offered each semester or when they are they are full.

The crime rate is not as absent as I was led to believe. It looks like a

very protected school but don't let it fool you. The have had their

share of crime and they try to keep you from focusing on that.

When I tried to reach the President, he also would not speak with me. So

if you want to try to reach someone at the school with a complaint it is

impossible.

There is no internet, phone or tv in the houses. There are in the dorms

but not in the houses making it very expensive for students. Most can't

afford it. These are houses provided by the shcool and they should have

internet - this day and age the kids can't do without it.

Because they do not allow students to have the opposite sex in rooms or

houses many students have sex on the parking lot in cars, not safe, and

no one seems to be bothered to stop it. They also throw their not so

safe condoms on the parking lot. Yuck.

So if you want to go to a school that is high priced and low service go

to Lindenwood. Other wise check out Washington Uni. My daughter could

have go there for about the same cost and it is a better school all around.
