LG washer and dryer/Best BUY/ Best Buy service contract

LG washer and dryer/Best BUY/ Best Buy service contract I purchased a LG front load washer and dryer from best buy in 2003 and have had nothing but problems with them since. I have not stepped into Best Buy since September of 2005. I have had problems with computer service contracts in the past too, being charged for MSN on my visa because they did the paperwork wrong when I bought the computer, but they could not get my money back from MSN - that was my problem...... the final straw for an absolutely horrible store with poor quality products and the worst customer service I have ever seen in all my years. .....was this For those of you who will purchase from Best Buy beware of this. Best Buy could not install the dryer because they didn't have the right parts. Waited weeks for them to do it correctly. Washer broke in 2005 - actually, it did not break, it had been missing a part when we bought it per the repairman. Best Buy used a third party company for repair. That company was terrible. The first appointment I could get was over a week away, and then the guy just didn't show up. The next day he showed up and admitted he had not idea what was wrong and how to fix it. They had to send another person......The part was on backorder....... It took multiple hours, multiple phone calls and over 1 and 1/2 month to get the washer fixed. My LG dryer broke in Nov 2006. The same third party company came. Ordered parts. The parts never came. The problem was they did not pay their bills to LG so LG would not send them parts. It took two months to get this information out of them and Best Buy. They kept telling me to check back in a few days. I reported them to the better business bureau. Best Buy was well aware of this situation between the company and LG when they sent them to my house to repair the LG dryer. The company also asked that I call LG and Best Buy to see if they could resolve their credit issue.......they claim LG does not pay them for their labor. (What a joke) So in January Best Buy sends their own service repairman. He comes, says he'll order two parts. I discover the parts have not been ordered a few days later when I called the inefficient, slow, obnoxious service center. No on can tell me why the parts aren't ordered, no one can call the repairman, so they'll put this into the "research investigation team" who will call me in four days. So I ask for the supervisor, who promises to help but doesn't' call back between 4-5 that day as she promised. (Heather was her name) I call the next and ask for Heather but they can't connect me to her unless I have her extension number (Heather did no provide that to me) because "its a big place here and there are lots of supervisors". I get a new supervisor (Kyle) and I get his extension. Same old story, can't call the repairman but he can get the repairman to come to my house tomorrow. (But again, he cannot actually speak to this person to ask him if he ordered the parts), I want Kyle's supervisor. He can't call him either. His boss will return my call in 48 hours. Guess what, he does not. In the meantime, the repairman comes to my house again the next day and discovers he did not order the parts. He made a mistake. He orders them. And you have got to love this...... later that evening I get two calls from the research investigation team calling to let me know that after spending four days investigating this they have discovered the parts have been ordered. (I confirm they are correct because I took another day off of work to meet with their "unreachable" service man again to ask him if her ordered the part, because they were unable to do this for me.) Great service!!!!!! The LG products are terrible, Best Buy is a rip-off and the service company is a cyber company run only by simply phony people trained to spew totally insincere robotic babble (I'm so sorry to here about your problems. I'll be glad to help you") but they can only send emails to each other. Although you can talk to them on the phone for hours and hours, they are unable to talk to each other. They can't call their repairman, they can't call their bosses, and guess what, neither can you.
