BMG Complaint RE: BMG I received a cd that I had never ordered from this company. Furthermore I had never visited their site or gave them any of my information to enroll in ANY program. I learned in my Business Law class that I was permitted by law, if I receive a product in my name that I didn't order I was allowed to keep this product without being required to pay for it. I sent back the bill asking for the payment of approx $9 with a note that I had note ordered the product and was refusing to pay for the product. They have pestured me with several more mailing, which have been mailed back in the same style as the first. I have recently gotten phone calls from a debt collector about tis matter. I told him in very strong language that I refused to pay for a product that I had not ordered, nor enrolled in the program. I told him that I had not ever been to the website, nor have I ever heard of any buy x number of cd's and get one free, or what have you. He went on to tell me that I was required to pay this amount. I am sorry I do not see paying for something that I did not order, that when I received an unwanted product it was damaged, and from a company that I have never enrolled or given them information. They can shove their $9 up their ass. I do not want to keep receiving the pestering mailings, or phone calls for that matter. They call me from a number that is not toll free, telling me to call them back for the important information. This is complete bullshit and they are trying to get every last fucking penny that they can from you. Absolutely insane.
