Unfortunately I did not check them out before spending over $6000 on 13 orders from 12/22/06 to 4/01/07 under the impression that false, misleading and misrepresentation is not allowed by the FCC. All of the orders were wrong and I sent back for refunds and/or corrections. It took me making 40+ calls(with 100's of minutes on hold)15 unfulfilled promises to call me back and sending 5 faxes over the period of 12/30/06 to 5/23/07 to get some response. I did get a store credit for shipping only to use it on another order that came wrong. It took my undying persistance to get that and to get any credits that took 2 to 4 months and repairs took just as long. I never recieved the promised certificates of authenticity and received a couple certificates for products I did not receive. I gave up on that. I would not have gotten my money credited at all or the repairs if I had not been so persistant. The repairs were no good either. I believe that they try to win by wearing you out. Their promises of customer service are totally bogus and they lie, deceive and blatenly misrepresent on the air. I have everything documented but do not know where to go. It takes them nearly a month or longer to actually ship items ordered even though they charge your card immediately(I heard that this was a FCC violation)they state this is their policy to charge you for the item and not ship it for 3 weeks or so-using our money to operate-and thus it takes so long for you to get an order that you don't know the problems you are getting yourself into if you do some shopping over a few days. I have watched the 2 female hosts do the most bogus so called actions, they put up so called final clocks 2 or 3 times, one time one of them even bought off the auction winner because it was too low, they cheat at the auctions. Why do they get away with this. I have tried to contact the owners via phone, letters, faxes and email- they do not publish their email-no response whatsoever. Do not shop there!!! Beware- I am stuck with suppossedly repaired jewelry that I cannot wear because they fall apart-and if I try to return them again I may never see them or my money. Will have to pay a jeweler to repair. Stupid me actually gave them another chance this November - took nearly a month for them to ship the item, even though I paid for it the day of order (when I called and asked about where it was thats when they told me that it is their policy to not ship for 3 wks, but charge upon ordering)The piece I received was pretty and a good value but again the settings are bad and cannot wear-will have repaired locally and NEVER shop with them again

Approximately a little over a year ago, I got into collecting gemstones.

I started off only knowing what was said by the hosts on the show. I should have checked into things a lot more, because I didn't find out until recently, (Of course way after the Guarantees are void) when I took all of my collection to a gemologist/jeweler.

He told me everything I had purchased from DSNTV was garbage and MISREPRESENTED! For exapmle; I purchased a "Yellow Fancy Diamond" (.25ct). I received the stone, and it looked more brown than yellow, but it looked a "Little" yellow, so I kept it. The gemologist looked at it under a microscope, and found the stone had a chip out of the girdle that could have only been done while the stone was being cut. He said the coloring was really bad. It should have been a bright yellow, to qualify for a "Fancy Yellow."

I also purchased two "Burmese" rubies at 1+ carat each. The gemologist showed me the difference of a "Real" Burmese Ruby that he had in his inventory under the UV light as apposed to the two rubies I had purchased from DSNTV. They had a very, very, very, slight fluorescence. He informed me the stones were very likely NOT from Burma!

I used to really like watching Thomas because he seemed to know what he was talking about. He had a "Mystery Stone" offer. He said "You guys know me, it'll be quality, it'll be great!"

So.......I ordered it thinking I would be getting a single great stone, something I didn't already have, maybe something that had a little worth to it.

I waited for approximately two months before I finally got the package.

When I opened the box, I was beyond MAD at what I found!

I found amethyst (Some pieces were pitted/scratched) peridot, and some topaz. I found two pieces of different stones, which meant they were put in the package in that condition. They were put in the package as PARTIAL, BROKEN PIECES!!

After meeting with the local gemologist, I got onto DSNTV's website and tried to write to thier customer service explaining all of this. I NEVER got a response!!

I have gotten a much better product from JTV and I usually get the package within a couple of days. I have never had any issues with the quality of thier products and I have never had any complaints about their prices. They are also very honest about where their products come from, and if they have had any type of treatment.

If you go to the web site http://caag.state.ca.us/ you will be at the site for the Office of the Attorney General State of California. Under the heading (right side of page) Consumers and Business click on Consumers. Then click on Consumer Alerts, Info and Complaints, on the bottom right of this page you will see Complaint Forms click on Consumer Complaint Against Business/Company. This will take you to a form that you can both fill in online or download and print off. Please pass the word, this company needs to be stopped. I have had experience with this company and when I told them that I was going to file against them with the Attorney Generals Office they backed up and gave me the merchandise that I ordered.
