Debt Collections

I've recently had an experience with NCO Financial that was very unpleasant. A debt I owe went to them for collections. Not every body may feel this way, but I can honestly say that it bothers me owing this money, unfotunately, I don't have the means to pay them anything. I spoke with them one day and they said I had thirty days to make a 10% payment and another month to come up with another 10%, then they could work out a smaller payment plan. They called a few days later and the man that I spoke with was very rude, didn't give me his name and when I mentioned this he still didn't give me his name. Unfortunately you know that a call is definitely not being monitored by the way a representitive is speaking to you on the phone. He denied that I was given up to 30 days to make the initial payment of 10%. I was called a lier multiple times and made to feel about 2 inches smaller than I already felt knowing I owe money. He through in my face that I have made house payments( which is funny because I haven't lived in my home since about May of last year after my ex-wife and I seperated and divorced and she got the house, also he brought up a jewler's credit card that I had and haven't used in well over a year), you would think they would know about those things if they researched you. They don't give you any constructive suggestions on how you might be able to get help with debt or anything. Now, I used to work in the cable industry on the phones taking incoming calls, so when I deal with people I do my very best not to be rude or treat people as if they are nothing. I didn't yell at the man or call him names and still he treated me like dirt, called me a liar and the other gentleman, and I use that term even though I don't want to, denied what he had told me a few days prior.
