WebFurs vs the $100. they owe me Hi my name is Diane. I live in FL. I finally decided to see about selling my mother's mink coat. It was her prized possesion, but I would rather see it being used than just hanging in the closet. I found the company Web Furs that does deal in used coats. They said they would need to see the coat first-hand before they could quote a sale price to me. I went ahead and spent $21 to ship it to NYC the first week of Nov. I spoke to Elizabeth about a month later & we agreed on a price of $100. I certainly had hoped for a better price, but that is what they offered. At that time, Elizabeth explained their bookkkeeper was on vacation, so the check would be a bit delayed. Here it is almost Jan. I should have been paid by now. I called back twice & emailed once. I was told they would check on it & get right back to me. I am disabled and $100. is a whole lot to me. $21 shipping was a lot to me. Besides the money, the principle of the thing is also important. A company who says they have been in the business for decades can't even pay a simple $100 commitment doesn't speak well to New York City Furriers.
