Transportation in Las Vegas

We were late by 5 minutes coming down to the pick up area from Hotel and Shuttle company did not wait. I was just mistaken that it was 8.45 am but it actually was 8.40 am pick up. They did not wait 5 minutes. I was told to wait until 8.55 if they did not come. That means they want customer to wait 15 minutes for their error but they will not wait even 5 minutes for the customer. For anyone going to Vegas it actually is worth knowing that as the airport is so close to the strip, the shuttle service does not make sense if you have two or more people are traveling. It will cost you $ 12 per head for shuttle to and fro. Cab will take you $ 14-20 to reach the hotel and you have all the independence. Also Monorail in the Vegas is a waste of money and time. They will make you walk so much that it takes fun away from the vacation. Monorail does not connect the main casinos and is away from the strip. Again cabs are effective and cheap if you go to some main casinos and walk through the connected casinos and then take cab when you complete again.
