2005 Dodge Dakota

2005 Dodge Dakota

My 2005 Dodge Dakota with 58,000 miles on it stalled and would not start.

It was towed to the dealership, they said there is sludge in the engine and

it's caused by my not getting oil changes. They want receipts and I don't

have them even though I have had the oil changes. Now they will not honor

the warrenty and want me to pay $4,000 to $5,000 for a new engine and

labor. I need to turn this situation around, I need assistance or I'll be

still paying $ 17,000.00 for a truck that I can't drive.

Hi there! If you bought your oil a one of the large retailers you may be able to get printouts of all your purchases.

hope that helps.

If you went to the same place to have your oil changed they may have records. My son-in-law works for Jiffy lube and they have records on computer
