Verizon DSL & Customer Service

Verizon US In February my parents signed up for Verizon DSL service. IT has been slow ever since they got it, and has gotten progressivly worse. After calling Verizon for help I was told the DSL modum was defective. It is only 9 monts old. However, Verizon only had a 30 day guarantee on their products. But for $70 they could purchase a new one from Verizon. My parents are on a fixed income and have to purchase a new modum after 9 monts is rediculous. Talk about taking advantage of senior citizens. Further more, trying to talk to an actual person at Verizon is harder than trying to get an infant to talk and walk. I spent 10 minutes trying to navigate my way through Verizon's phone tree, then I was told the lines were too busy and I had to call back. What kind of customer service is that. My next call was to Comcast and I was promptly transfered to a customer service person. Verizon YOU SUCK!
