The restaurant Forum is suppose to promote local businesses, using local constructive criticism wether positive or negative. However, this site has been promoting racism, hate, biased views, and anything but positive. The site managers allow these actions to go on and the food critic herself has a personal relationship with some of the forum members. The members make offensive comments and go out of their way to convince other potential patrons from visiting the establishments. I believe the site and Pamela Silvestri are being irresponsible with the livelyhood of their local business owners. The comments often made on the site are always false, unwarranted, and baseless. An example of how far they allow things to go is: Comment:Judging by your english I think it speaks volumes :) Where might you be from , huh ?Don;t get your knickers in a knot...I don\'t think Bistro isS@#%y as you said. Is it the best no, but for now it will have to do. At least they have fine entertainment and not some chubby woman half naked shaking her belly. And nicotine or not, SMOKING is against the LAW. Key word here, my friend is LAW. So you enjoy your water pipe or hookah as you call it and welcome to what used to be OUR country ! -Clubhopper

of the \"other\" owners. This one\'s English is much worse! by bkumdano

why you do think i\'m the owner? I am a married woman and from my understanding the place is owned by 3 guys. Am i the only person who said something nice about that place !!!Well that what i was talking about (old fashion)I think we better give them a chance to prove themselves and try to be positive and stop being racist.- malibus

But, let me ask you this ...if I were in Egypt, or wherever \"they\" are from, would \"our\" customs, meaning those of us who are Americans be respected, allowed or even tolerated ? The answer to that is NO ! I personally don\'t care if they do well or not. What I\'m trying to say is simply that an establishment such as yours....errrr I mean the 3 Owners, isn't anything I, my husband, family or friends would have any desires to visit. Why is that racist ? BTW I don't like Sushi either, does that mean I dislike Japanese people ? It's called preference.- Clubhopper

Well, you keep on talking about them being Egyptians (or whatever they are). You keep on bringing the fact that they have belly dancers (in every comment you brought this up) but I guess you got something against talents and arts. By the way, the one I saw last week with my husband was a Russian belly dancer????? So it really has nothing to do with Egyptians.- malibus

won\'t continue on this any longer. I really enjoyed how you wrote, \" Egyptians, ( Or whatever they are ) Good try hun. Oh And having all those USA flags around YOUR place of business is a cute touch. VERY AMERICAN. And as for talant & the arts, we too appreciate talant as well as the arts. We simply disagree on what YOU consider the ARTS. Their is an age old expression... \" When in Rome \" Well, it too applies here.- Clubhopper

with you. Most on here understand what I was trying to express. So have yourself a very Merry Christmas, oh sorry...I shouldnt say that. It isnt politically correct. Happy Holiday and Seasons Greetings- Clubhopper

These are the so called "Restaurant Feedbacks" in the site. The actual converstaion began with don't go there. The person admits to never visiting the place to begin with but feels no one should support it. I believe no one involved with this site is qualified to represent this site. The purpose of being a food connoisseur is to discuss the great things about food and one's preference rather than public bashing and offensive remarks.
