I purchased a high quality Karastan berber/loop carpet during a storewide

carpet sale at Great Indoors. Now that the carpet is installed I've found

all kinds of manufacturing flaws in every room, for example ridges and full

length sections that look like snags and runs, leading me to believe the

carpet is a second. I made a complaint and the store sent out an

independent inspector who concurs the apparent existence of 'manufacturing

needle anomalies'. I am now waiting for Great Indoors to contact me back

regarding the results of the inspection. Any good installer would have

noticed these problems, which makes me very suspicious that they did know

and said nothing. When I contacted the installer with my complaint the

first thing they said was 'get an independent inspector'.

Does anyone know if this store knowingly buys seconds? I feel ripped off.
