K-mart complaint

Super K-Mart (Tinley Park, IL)

I work at K-Mart. I decided to purchase a 26 inch Mongoose bike. When I got it home and rode it, the chain kept poping off. So I took it back to exchange the bike. The new one that they gave me came in the box. When customer service did the exchange, They typed in the upc off the old receipt because the bar code would not scan. When I got it home and took it out of the box, it was a 24 inch bike. Big difference between 24 and 26. So the next day I went to exchange it again. They woldn't take it back because the upc doesn't match the receipt. I work there and they don't trust me enough to do the return. My advise is not to buy anything from K-Mart, but if you do make sure you are getting what you paid for before you leave the store.
