Fusion 260 Ltr Whirlpool refrigerator

II wish to bring to your kind notice that I bought a new refrigerator Model

260 ltr. Fousion Steel body from M/s Aggarwal Electronics on 17th June 2007,

Jaipur and it was delivered to me on 19th June 2007. An engineer visited our

house for installation and we observed that door was not moving freely and

it was making cracking sound. We lodged a complaint through dealer and our

complaint number was JP0607004112 which was advised by the dealer. An

Engineer visited our place and he advised us that the sound is due to rainy

season and he put some oil in the door brackets. The engineer then told me

that the door will not make such sound after 2-3 days. But after 3 days I

observed that there were cracks in door near the top and bottom bracket. I

also observed the following:

v There was water inside deep freezer and chilled tray. Also the water was

dripping from chilled tray to lower part in the refrigerator.

v De-frost was not functioning completely.

v Heater to evaporate the water from the tray is not functioning and water

is spreading out of the tray.

After making various complaints to the dealer, the company engineer advised

us to change the refrigerator door. I feel that there was a manufacturing

defect in the refrigerator and need to be replaced.

I wish to inform you here that even after making multiple calls to the

dealer and service center of Whirlpool in Jaipur, no solution has been

provided till date.

Looking into all this I request you to replace the refrigerator immediately.
