automotive repair - KNP Automotive

It was KNP Automotive that was the repair shop. The Mechanic is the only one they have. The Owner is Frank Ready. I brought my van (1998 Chevy Astro), which had blown the engine they quoted me a price of $2,000.00 of which they are trying to get me to pay $2,500.00, which I have paid $2,200.00 leaving a balance of $300.00. That only because the mechanic had written down on a piece of paper that he had quoted me $2,200.00 However, I just this afternoon with my wife decided to clean the van out for our upcoming vacation. When we discovered that rodent had or is still living in the van. However the damage is unbelievable, the car seats are eaten on, the seatbelts are chewed on making them unsafe, and one had even fallen off. The air conditioning vents and returns are chewed on and made into little doorways. There was rat droppings in the vents. There bolts missing and control module covers broken leaving circuit boards exposed. The front grill is cracked. And I had

to have the air filter replaced and oil changed and transmission fluid toped off. I am in the least very disheartened by all of this and I am looking for a way to let people know that this place of business is not the place to take their car for repairs.
