I am writing to complain about the kids club and their customer service.

I was called at 11:45 to pick up my son for pushing. My husband had the

only car and could not be there to get him until 2:30. He explained

this to the person on the phone. She told them that if he did not come

and get him right away they would contact Children's Services and

consider Grant, my son and abandoned child. They knew exactly when my

husband would be there. Abandoned kids are those for which they cannot

contact the parents. They also threatened me the day before that they

would expel him from camp and from going to any camps in the future if

he would not listen to the teacher. Their policy is only to send a

child home if he is causing harm to himself or another child. This

threat they made was in front of my child and a bunch of other parents.

I never received anything in writing about his behavior in the previous

days and I really think matters relating to child behavior should be a

private matter and I should not have been scolded in front of other

parents.


 


I am seeking reimbursement for the last day of camp. I have sent

several emails regarding these two issues and was only told why he was

sent home. I asked them to address these specific issues and they would

not respond.
