ebay has double billed me for a balance i paid 6 months ago, every rep i

write to gives the same robotic bs response on how to check the account and

make a payment and then each one says something different such as one

can't find my other payments , then one or two do find the other payments .

Then soem admit the payments i claim have been recieved but then turn around

anc tell me i still owe from january a past due amount that i paid .


They claim its a past due balance from january that wasn't paid but admits

to having recieved the payment and then turns around and swears up and down

that i still owe it . I have even sent the proof of payment to the

presidents office and they still give me the same orchastraited response

about going to the ebay site and checking on the status and how to make a

payment and refuse to acknoweldge the proof of payment i send over and over

again.


My may statement showed the last charges in january of $5.80 an dno wher

esay s its a past due balance but simply for record keeping shows that was

the last amount owed but they added it on to the may bill anyway as if it

was still due and refuse to admit their error. My may billing statement

clearly shows i have credits that amount to one amount and fee's that are a

greater amount and when you deduct the one from the other you will get the

amount of my last payment , yet ebay has added the amount of my january

payment out of thin air to the total amount due and the numbers just don't

add up.


Then some reps pull partial numbers from the billing statement to come up

with the amount they claim i owe instead of going with the total amounts of

fee;s and credits that are clearly shown. The BBB has been of no help as

they have closed the case just because they claim ebay tried to resolve the

issue by Ebay sending the same redundant response about checking the status

and making a payment rather than looking at my proof of payment. I sent a

fax to the presidents office a week ago with copies of my payment record as

well as my billing statement right from ebay its self and clearly showed i

did not owe any past due amount or any amount that i haven't paid yet and i

have gotten no response as they can't now come up with any more lies or bs

to claim i still owe them and refuse to re instate my account .
