maytag / washer

my maytag washer is 16 months old and the transmission ceased up on it it cost 300 dollars to fix it im on disability and have 3 small kids on a fix income.I bought a top of the line maytag washer for over 600 dollars it should last more than17 months.I can't afford to pay that to fix it i thought the transmisson is under warrantee for 5 years. i think maytag should come out and fix it. thank you samuel perry! samuelscp3 AT comcast.net
