Poor Customer Service and Service Visit from A & E Factory in Texas.

About two weeks ago, I called A & E to schedule a Service appoinment. The first availability they had was August 23, 2007; with a HUGE window time 8 am to 5 pm to service my Maytag washer machine. The softner dispenser isn't working.

Today is my dad's 2nd month anniversary since he past away. I didn't go with my sibblings to go visit the grave and cancel my appoinments for today in order to be here and wait for a tech who never showed up.

My house number isn't working, so I gave them my cell number to call me at any time. On August 22, 2007 I got a confirmation call around 7pm to make sure someone will be home and I did. They never told me that the Tech was going to call prior to arrival, and if they didn't get me on the phone will assume no one will be home.

I missed the call. I tried calling back and all I got was a cell phone with a A & E greeting recorded by the Tech and to contact the 800. At the same time I got a call from this same 800 num trying to verify service perform. I just don't get it. They are big liers. Fistable the customer service who insisted was the highest authority and the manager couldn't get the tech back or schedule me for a sooner service visit. She refused to provide the headquaters phone number.

At the same time why did I have to cancel all my schedule and be home, when the tech will call first to verity if someone is home. The service provide by A & E was very poor, and the customer service did not do anything expect for "I am sorry for the miscommunication". What miscommunication is she talking about it.
