empire carpeting a salesman from Empire carpeting came to my home and gave me an estimate for carpeting. I selected carpeting and gave a deposit. I was left with a receipt showing the carpet name color and rooms to be carpeted and the balance due. I called the salesman twice and told him I wanted an itemized bill showing price of carpet, number of yards of carpet, the discount I was suppose to receive and charges for picking up old carpet, padding, installation of carpet and moving of furniture. He told me I would receive this when carpet was installed. I never received it. I called their 800 number and was told they would request this for me. I was given a confirmation number for this and the manufactures warranty. A few days later I received a phone call telling me they did not have the info I requested. I have not received the warranty either. Every reputable company provides an invoice spelling out the prices and services on an itemized bill. This problem makes you question the ethics of this company.
