BT - Trying to get telephone line set up on moving house.[Scanned] Mr A Staniland 11 Breydon Gardens St Helens WA95WH
Can anyone tell me how you can get BT to respond to a request to transfer a home phone line from one address to another (within the same exchange vicinity)? I am completely exhausted after 4 weeks of going round and round on the BT merry-go-round of call centres and menus, waiting hours and hours on the phone, (costly mobiles), forever being cut off by ignorant so called customer services staff and twice, waiting in all day for engineers to call after being given order numbers, which were subsequently cancelled by BT who don't bother telling me and for reasons that they can't give me! Even letters to their customer services department never generate a response (I now believe BT seem to only employ the deaf and the blind) And as far as dealing with them on line - how can I when I have not got a phone line to fire up the internet on the home computer?
I just don't know what to do anymore. Can anyone out there advise me or tell me if they have had similar problems and if so how did they resolve them.
BT advertise "its good to talk" --- if only I could on the home phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virus Scanned and Verified by St Helens & Knowsley Health Informatics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DISCLAIMER: This e-mail may contain confidential and/or proprietary information some or all of which may be legally privileged.
