Dining room set / extended warranty service
|
Dining room set / extended warranty service Wickes Furniture Anaheim location. We purchased a very nice dining room set from Wickes furniture and opted to purchase the extended warranty coverage. Presently there are several loose screws on the table and in the chairs and people are pinching their fingers when they try to scoot their seats in and the table wobbles. We contacted Wickes and their representative came out and TOOK PICTURES! Wouldn't it have been easier to bring glue, screws and a screwdriver instead of a camera? I think so. When Wickes contacted us ...er wait we had to call them, They told us that it was considered normal wear and tear to have the screws drop of their screw holes. All we wanted was to have our extended warranty service contract honored and have them tighten up the screws on the thing. We've taken this issue up as far as we can locally and we're going to take it corporate. However it seems that every person agrees with Wickes evaluation of the furniture. That its normal wear and tear. Funny they are all Wickes employees. Where's our advocate here?
