lying employees of Bank of America not responsible for errorous information I called the local Bank of America before my sister wired me some money from her bank and asked if there was a fee for receiving a wire transfer. I was told no because that would be equalivant to charging for sending and receiving fees on one transaction. I was charged ten dollars by Bank of America for receiving the wire transfer. This is not the first time I have been doyubled charged or lied to by Bank of America employees. I even had the manager of the New Mexico branch at Lomas and Louisianai tell me she would reverse some ATM charges when I was charged a fee for not recieving funds when I had money in my account.
It seems you can not trust any empoyee at Bank of America without a signed docuement and even then they might try to weasel out of it.
